Cuban shares keys for the USA citizenship test: "This is the most difficult part"

Definitions is one of the most complicated points of the citizenship test, commented a Cuban tiktoker.

The Cuban TikToker Yanet, known on social media as @yanetatlanta, who shared her experience during the interview to obtain U.S. citizenship, explained what she finds to be the most difficult part of that moment.

Yanet referred to the definitions, which are the meanings of some specific words in the test that the foreign person is answering.

The young woman commented that during her process, they asked her three words and their respective definitions, but, after the procedure, she only remembers two of them, which were: oath of allegiance and weapon.

As for the first word, its corresponding definition is: the Oath of Allegiance to become a citizen of the United States. It is administered during the citizenship ceremony and symbolizes the transition from immigrant to citizen.

While weapon, whose translation into Spanish is arma, is an instrument or object used to fight, hunt, injure, defeat, or destroy an opponent.

Yanet clarified that she didn't memorize all the words in the glossary of definitions, but she recommended studying them to avoid unpleasant moments during the citizenship test.

In a previous video, the young woman narrated that she faced several setbacks from the moment she arrived at the office that made her think she wouldn't pass the process. One of the most critical moments was when, while in line, she realized she had forgotten her driver's license, a crucial document for the interview.

After several moments of tension, the officer confirmed to her that she had passed the interview and offered her the opportunity to participate in the swearing-in ceremony that same day.
