"Cuba is in the house!": Yotuel celebrates nominations for the LOS40 Music Awards along with Enrique Iglesias.

"Proud to be nominated with my brother."

Yotuel is overflowing with excitement and shared it with all his followers. The Cuban singer posted on Instagram about how proud he is to have been nominated alongside Enrique Iglesias at the LOS40 Music Awards 2024, in not just one, but two important categories.

“Proud to be nominated with my brother @enriqueiglesias. CUBA IN THE HOUSE!” wrote Yotuel, expressing his joy at competing alongside his friend and colleague. He accompanied the post with a video in which he performs the song a cappella, with the track playing in the background, ending with some words of gratitude.

Both artists have been nominated in the categories of Best Latin Collaboration for their song "Fría," and also in the category of Best Latin Song for the same hit. The track, released eight months ago, has already amassed over 21 million views on YouTube, confirming it has been a major hit among their followers.

The awards gala will take place on November 8 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, where Yotuel and Enrique will compete against other big names in Latin music such as Karol G, Shakira, and María Becerra. Certainly, the category is competitive, but Yotuel is confident that his collaboration with Iglesias will leave a mark at this event.

"Fría," a pop ballad with urban influences, has not only captured attention for its sound but also for the music video that has won over millions of viewers. This nomination is a recognition of the musical chemistry between both artists and their ability to connect with the audience.

The LOS40 Music Awards are one of the most anticipated musical events of the year, featuring high-profile nominees such as Aitana, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Bad Gyal, across both local and international categories. In the Best Latin Collaboration category, Yotuel and Iglesias are competing against other hits like "Así es la vida" by Enrique Iglesias and María Becerra, and "Ohnana" by Kapo and Maluma.

This recognition is undoubtedly a source of pride for Yotuel, who hasn't hesitated to share his excitement with the hashtag #Viral. Will this collaboration be the one to win the award? All we can do now is wait for the gala!
