“Proud to be nominated with my brother @enriqueiglesias. CUBA IN THE HOUSE!” wrote Yotuel, expressing his joy at competing alongside his friend and colleague. He accompanied the post with a video in which he performs the song a cappella, with the track playing in the background, ending with some words of gratitude.
Both artists have been nominated in the categories of Best Latin Collaboration for their song "Fría," and also in the category of Best Latin Song for the same hit. The track, released eight months ago, has already amassed over 21 million views on YouTube, confirming it has been a major hit among their followers.
The awards gala will take place on November 8 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, where Yotuel and Enrique will compete against other big names in Latin music such as Karol G, Shakira, and María Becerra.
