The euro takes a step back in the Cuban informal market

The euro takes a step back in the Cuban informal market.

For the second consecutive day, the euro is the only one of the three benchmark currencies in the Cuban informal market that begins the day with changes.

This Tuesday, the euro starts the day with a slight decline in its average selling value, dropping from 345 to 342.5 CUP.

In the case of the dollar and the freely convertible currency (MLC), both currencies remain valued at the same rates they have held for several days: 325 for the dollar and 265 for the virtual currency used by the Cuban government in certain authorized stores.

The median values reported by the independent outlet elTOQUE suggest that the European currency may experience further changes in the coming hours.
