Marianela Ancheta heads to Mexico for Miss Universe 2024: "A dream I never would have imagined begins."

Marianela Ancheta, Miss Cuba Universo, sends a powerful message of perseverance before competing in the beauty pageant.


Marianela Ancheta, the current Miss Cuba Universe, shared an emotional message on her social media before leaving Miami for Mexico, where she will represent the Island at the prestigious beauty pageant.

In her post shared on Instagram Stories, Ancheta reflects on the challenges and sacrifices she has faced along her journey, highlighting how her "unbreakable heart and soul" have driven her to tirelessly pursue her dreams.

“Today a dream begins… a dream I could never have imagined as a child,” wrote the beauty queen, who describes herself as a perseverant and disciplined person. In her message, the young Cuban encourages her followers to never give up on their own dreams, reminding them that true happiness lies in living with purpose and in harmony with oneself.

Taking advantage of his departure, he also expressed words of gratitude towards his fellow Cubans, highlighting that his participation in the event is dedicated to all of them, and that, despite the adversities, he shares the same desire for freedom and opportunities. "To all my Cubans, whether you support me or not, this is for Cuba and for all of you with much love," he added, accompanying the message with a flag of Cuba and a red heart.

In addition, Ancheta expressed her deep gratitude to her team, whom she considers family, for their unwavering support during this stage of her life, and she dedicated some words to those who doubted her, mentioning that they have been "a great motivation to overcome challenges."

This trip represents not only an opportunity for Marianela Ancheta to compete on the international stage but also to bring Cuba’s name to the world arena, inspiring many with her story of hard work and determination.

We remember that Marianela's participation in Miss Universe marks Cuba's return to the competition after 57 years of absence.
