Although the arrest of Damián Valdez-Galloso, responsible for El Taiger's death, marks a significant step forward in the investigation of his murder, Jorge Junior, the artist's cousin, claims that there is still a long way to go before complete justice is achieved.
“I am very happy because there has been a lot of progress, and some justice has been done, but for me, full justice has not yet been achieved. Justice will be served for me when each person involved in my cousin's murder is apprehended,” said the leader of Los 4 in an Instagram live session.
"To the one who called, to the one who loaded, to the one who saw and said nothing, justice will be served for me when the events are reconstructed and everything is said as it is, because there are two or three quiet ones who haven’t spoken yet. For me, justice will be achieved when everyone is held accountable. It’s true that that one fired the shot, but there’s the one who loaded, the one who knew and said nothing, and there’s the one who continues to know and remains silent, out of fear or for whatever reason," the artist added.
"I don't know how many people were involved," clarified Jorge Junior, but he stated that he will not be satisfied until all those involved are behind bars.
On October 29, Damián Valdez-Galloso was arrested in Queens County, New York, and he is scheduled to appear in court in that city on November 12.
The author of the homicide of El Taiger is expected to be extradited to Miami, where he will have to answer for the murder of the Cuban reggaeton artist.
