Cubans celebrated Trump's victory in Florida from the Versailles restaurant in Miami. Trump received 54.8% of the votes in Florida compared to Harris's 44.2%.


From the iconic Versailles restaurant on Calle 8, which has hosted protests from the exile community and the Cuban community in South Florida for decades, dozens of Cubans gathered to celebrate the victory of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Florida.

With American flags and those related to the tycoon’s campaign, honking car horns and shouting with joy, the attendees gathered at this significant location in the Cuban diaspora in Miami.

Donald Trump received Florida's 30 electoral votes with 54.8% of the votes, while Kamala Harris garnered 44.2%, according to U.S. media sources.

After 11:30 p.m. on this Tuesday, these are the states projected as won by Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. presidential race:

Kamala Harris: California, Colorado, Columbia, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Washington, and Vermont, and so far, she has secured one electoral district from Maine.

Donald Trump: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, North Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
