Trump says that God spared his life to save the United States

Trump claims that God spared his life to restore greatness to the U.S. after winning the elections. He survived two assassination attempts during his campaign.

Former President Donald Trump claimed that God spared his life to save the United States.

Trump, who has just made a historic return to the White House after defeating Kamala Harris in the 2024 elections, stated during his victory speech that God spared his life to "restore the greatness of the United States."

"Many people have told me that God saved my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our country and restore greatness to the United States. And now we are going to fulfill that mission together," he expressed in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"The task ahead of us will not be easy, but I will put every ounce of energy, spirit, and fight that I have in my soul into the work entrusted to me," he added.

Trump has suffered two assassination attempts this year during the electoral campaign: in Pennsylvania and in Florida.

The first incident occurred on July 13 during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a 20-year-old man armed with a gun shot at him, injuring him in the ear. The shooter was killed on the spot.

The second incident occurred on September 15, while the political leader was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach. He was removed after Secret Service agents spotted a man in the bushes pointing the barrel of an AK-47 through a wire fence.
