Cuban singer Jorge Junior Hernández Carvajal, leader of the group Los 4, celebrates his birthday this Monday, November 11, a day marked by mixed emotions. A month after the passing of reggaeton artist El Taiger, Jorge Junior has not hesitated to remember his cousin with a very special video.

In a social media post, Jorge Junior shared a video from his last birthday, where El Taiger called to congratulate him from a parking lot in Miami, before one of his concerts. "It's my birthday tomorrow, and I didn't want anyone to get ahead of your wishes," the artist wrote alongside the video, showcasing the deep affection between the two cousins.

El Taiger, whom Jorge Junior regards as a significant influence in his life, was then expressing his gratitude and love. "Today is the birthday of the one who made me who I am. I love you with all my heart," José Manuel Carbajal told him during the video call.

This anniversary carries a bittersweet note for Jorge Junior, as it coincides with the painful memory of the loss of El Taiger, who was found shot near Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on October 3, and passed away a week later, leaving a deep mark on Cuban reggaeton. His alleged killer, Damián Valdez-Galloso, has been brought to justice.

Despite the tragedy, Jorge Junior also celebrates the arrival of his daughter Asia, who has brought renewed joy to his life. “Life is precise. You arrived at just the right moment,” the singer expressed on social media, sharing the hope that this birth represents amid a challenging year.

The girl's mother and current partner of the singer, Claudia Hernández, also dedicated some beautiful words to him on his special day.
