Cuban singer Jorge Junior quickly reacted to the recent controversy between reggaeton artists Oniel Bebeshito and L Kimii (Kimiko), who have been involved in a dispute over the overlap of their concert dates in Miami on December 28.
Jorge Junior, leader of Los 4, expressed his support for Kimiko with a message that stirred excitement among fans of Cuban urban music.
In a Facebook post, Jorge Junior shared Kimiko's response to Bebeshito's decision to schedule his debut in the United States on the same day that the duo Kimiko and Yordi has their concert in the city. Accompanying the post, the artist wrote: "This kid is one of the good ones. My respect, great response." With these words, Jorge Junior made it clear that he approves of how Kimiko handled the situation.
The controversy between the two leading figures in the genre began when L Kimii expressed his discontent on social media, referring to the overlapping dates as a "written coincidence" and suggesting that Bebeshito and his team did not communicate their plans in advance. Although Kimiko also wished Bebeshito success in his debut, his tone shifted when he shared a video in which Bebeshito implied that one of the duo's previous concerts had been a failure in terms of attendance, a claim that Kimiko refuted by showing images from the event.
For his part, Bebeshito responded to L Kimii's remarks by promoting the concert of Kimiko and Yordi in Miami on the same day as his own concert. “What is meant for you cannot be taken away,” he also wrote in his Instagram stories.
With the support of figures like Jorge Junior, the tension between Bebeshito and Kimiko has garnered even more attention from fans, who are eagerly watching for the artists' next moves.
We also recall that recently Jorge Junior criticized the collaboration "Papita Frita" by Lenier Mesa, Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Oniel Bebeshito, in which they paid tribute to El Taiger, Jorge's cousin, by displaying his image on a screen. The leader of Los 4 deemed the music video disrespectful.
Bebeshito argued that his success does not rely on controversies, emphasizing that he has been the most listened-to artist in his country for over a year without resorting to any disputes.
