Two Cuban sisters have featured in one of the most touching reunions on TikTok this week. In a heartfelt scene, we see a young woman newly arrived on the island at her mother’s house when her sister, who lives in the United States, surprises her by appearing unexpectedly.
"What are you doing here without me? Did you really think I wouldn't fly 90 miles for you?" her sister says as she walks through the door, while her sister cries tears of joy at their reunion.
"You go to Cuba to see your mother, and your sister surprises you by arriving from the USA," wrote the user @.danesita, the main figure in this beautiful reunion, who also lives outside the island.
These images have not left any Cuban indifferent who has seen them, accumulating nearly one hundred fifty thousand views and hundreds of comments, among which we find messages such as:
"I'm here crying; it's impossible not to cry. That arm is what restarts us," "These videos make me cry, how beautiful. I've been away from Cuba for almost 10 years and 10 months. The reunion not only moved those present but also thousands of people who have shared and commented on the story, reminding everyone of the importance of family and the sacrifices made to stay united.
