Latina in the U.S. reveals how she spends less on food: "You can save a lot of money by coming to this store."

"It's a Walmart at half price."

The Guatemalan creator @shamy_leth set social media ablaze with a video where she shares her secret to saving money in the United States: shopping at Winco Foods. In her clip, which has already garnered over 25.8K likes, she explains, "Save a lot of money in the United States by coming to this store. Here, you’ll find everything at very low prices: pico de gallo, pre-cut fruit, ready-to-eat salads to which you can just add lemon or something, and even granadilla that’s ready to eat—you won’t have to peel anything!"

He also stated that at Winco Foods, prices are more affordable than at other supermarkets: "You can think of it as a Walmart at half the price. This is the grocery haul for three people, which lasts about two weeks, and this is the total we spent: $196.75."

Although her recommendation was clear, user comments came in quickly, and opinions are quite divided. Many expressed their appreciation for the tip, while others remained unconvinced. One follower commented, "I love this store; it's very affordable, and I've saved a lot on my groceries compared to Walmart," while another stated, "I can confirm this. Just important to clarify that they only accept cash and/or debit cards, nothing else."

However, criticisms were not absent. One user commented: "Pico de gallo for $5 when making it yourself costs a maximum of $2," while another added, "What’s cheap often ends up being expensive. Also, the less it's handled by humans, the better the food." There were also those who compared prices: "All the prices I saw were the same as at Walmart," and even expressed doubts about the store's reach: "Sad, it's not in all states," or "The closest one is 570 km away, I don't think it works for me."

The creator enthusiastically concluded her video, highlighting the variety of products offered by Winco Foods. However, it is evident that this topic has divided social media users between those who see real savings and those who question whether it is the cheapest place to do grocery shopping. What do you think? Is it worth a try?
