The Lake County Police in Florida had to respond to a distress call from a resident who, upon opening the door of her home, was greeted by an alligator that had come to "pay her a visit."
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the dispatcher received a call from a woman reporting the presence of an alligator on her porch.
"The agents arrived to capture and safely transport the unexpected visitor," revealed the entity.
A video shared on Facebook showcases the efforts of the two officers, who, fearlessly and skillfully, captured the animal using a rope and adhesive tape.
The first one managed to catch it by the head, before jumping on top of it and restraining it. Then, the other seals its mouth with tape. Finally, both of them take the reptile and put it inside the patrol car.
"This isn't the first time we've received a call like this... but it's always a classic in Florida!" added the Sheriff's Office in the post.
