José Adolis García continues to improve his performance in the minor leagues and last night he hit three home runs and drove in eight runs, tying the team's all-time record. García lay in aslump offensive, but he has recovered and is hitting .410, five home runs and 13 RBIs in the last 10 games.
The man from Avila now hits .260 and if something has affected him not being taken into consideration by the St. Louis Cardinals, it is his low OBP (on-base average) of .290. In 89 games, Adolis has only captured 13 walks.
Right now he is 7th among the leaders in home runs in the Pacific Coast League and with 55 RBIs he is second on his Triple-A Memphis Redbirds team.
García could maintain the offensive pace and receive a call next September.
