Cuban baseball player Víctor Victor Mesa, 22, suffered a thigh injury this Sunday, according to the news site ESPN.
As explained by the island's outfielder, recently signed by the Miami Marlins, Víctor Victor Mesa, after batting he felt the discomfort and grabbed his thigh until he managed to reach first base.
The Marlins, for their part, said that the young man will be evaluated and see a doctor tomorrow, Monday.
Last October the team signed the Cuban for a contract of 5.25 million dollars.
