"The Cuban regime forces dissidents into exile," says Cuban Prisoners Defenders

La ONG Cuban Prisioners Defenders denounced that State Security is pressuring opponents to go into exile, according to reports Reuters.

"It is clear that this is something that is happening on a massive and alarming scale and that it is imperative that it stops," said the 259-page report published by this organization. It mentioned 35 activists, independent journalists and artists whom the Cuban regime had forced to leave Cuban territory in recent years.

The non-governmental human rights organization said that more than a third of the 26 activists who responded to its online survey said they were escorted to the airport by State Security agents and forced into exile.
