The popular Mexican pop rock band,Manna, revived his success with a new video clipIt smells like sadness, to encourage his followers to stay home and stop the spread of thecoronavirus.

Also with the intention of making the quarantine more enjoyable, the band members recorded themselves from their homes performing one of the most emblematic songs of their career, belonging to their popular albumWhere will the children play?, from 1992.

The members of the band –Fer Olvera, Sergio Vallín, Juan Calleros and Alex González– put on clothes for hanging out at home and sent their followers the message that this situation can also be enjoyed and being confined at home does not deprive us of being able to create. and enjoy.

"I want to take advantage of this space to greet all our fans around the world, I hope they are very well and that they are at home," wrote the band's leader, Fer Olvera, on his social networks.

"We all have to do our part to help, minimize contagion and thus, lower the curve of this very dangerous virus that is COVID-19," said the drummer, whose mother is Cuban, in a video presenting the clip.

In addition to music, Fer has also been recommending his favorite books to entertain himself during quarantine and commented that the band is preparing more musical surprises.

Mexico extended the quarantine and containment measures until May 30, due to the growing spread of the coronavirus in the country, which registers 6,297 confirmed cases, although health authorities have warned that there are many more that have not been confirmed.
