Cuban Michelito Dando Chucho becomes an American citizen after 11 years in the United States

The Cuban influencer Michel Díaz, better known in the world of social networks as Michelito Giving Chucho, has just obtained American nationality after 11 years of residence in the United States.

The young man, who has become very popular in the virtual environment for his humorous publications about the happenings of the island's show business, spoke exclusively with CyberCuba and he told what this big step has meant for him after having postponed it for a long time.

"I really wanted to be a citizen since I turned 5 years old in this country, but unfortunately I gave priority to other things that were not necessarily going to favor my status," the influencer first expressed.

Michel describes the reasons that led him to delay the nationalization process as "a mix between living for today and a little fear." As he confessed in the interview, these were the main reasons that prevented him from "taking the step."

However, it is never too late to set goals and achieve objectives in life. Despite his fears and uncertainties, Michel managed to focus on his future and began to carry out the necessary procedures to finally materialize his "American dream."

"I set out this year because I woke up. I set out to achieve it. Even though I like the capitalist system, politics, American history and how this great country works, I let days and years pass before me to do it tomorrow," he explained.

Thanks to that awakening, today Michel He proudly and happily boasts on his social networks of his newly assigned American citizenship. He even did not hesitate to joke with his followers, alluding that from now on they should speak to him in English and not Spanish, since he is already American.

"Today I am an American, I love this country like an American and what it feels like to be part of this great nation that opened its doors to me is indescribable," he said excitedly.

"This is what all Cubans and Latinos who live in this fabulous land must feel without forgetting our roots, but with that sense of belonging because this is now our home," he added.

Michel He is a native of the San Miguel del Padrón municipality, in Havana, and currently resides with his family in the city of Miami.

With almost 30 thousand followers on Instagram and 7 thousand on Facebook, Michelito Dando Chucho is one of the most acclaimed Cubans on social networks and one of those who most entertains and makes users laugh with his constant satires and jokes.
