The sweetness of the voice of Camila Cabello and the mastery of Hans Zimmer teamed up to provide music for the new BBC One docuseries, Frozen Planet II.

"Take Me Back Home" was recently released along with the extended trailer of the audiovisual, which will be narrated by British scientist and naturalist David Attenborough.

“Legendary composer Hans Zimmer and global superstar Camila Cabello have teamed up to give you your first look at Frozen Planet II,” the commercial channel shared on its Instagram account. BBC, a publication shared by the Cuban singer.

For his part, the German composer recognized with two Oscars for his film soundtracks The Lion King and Dune, also joined in the promotion of the theme and the series: “The first trailer of Frozen Planet II and features our new song 'Take Me Back Home' with the exceptional Camila Cabello. The series is coming to BBC Earth soon!”

As I had anticipated BBC, Camila's voice and the music created by Zimmer manage to convey that idea of fragility and danger that the cold regions of the planet face and that constitutes the main message of the audiovisual.

The song begins very slowly with Camila's delicate tone, but increases its intensity and strength as the images show the indisputable beauty of this region, its landscapes and its fauna, but also the threats and danger to which they are exposed. .

“Life not only finds a way to survive, but to live,” David Attenborough's voice-over is heard in one of the moments of the trailer.

The preview, which lasts just over two minutes, includes images collected during four years of expeditions by the BBC Studios Natural History Unit in the Arctic, Antarctica, Tundra, Boreal Forest and High Mountains, says the british corporation.

It is the first time that a new song has been written to accompany the launch of a BBC One natural history and for the Cuban artist it has been a privilege.

“Being able to combine my passion for the planet we live on and my music is a dream come true, not to mention being able to work with the legend that is Hans Zimmer,” said Camila Cabello when this collaboration was announced.
