The mother of Cuban YouTuber Camila Guiribitey, known on social media as Mamilover, revealed that the family's fortune exceeds 100 million dollars.
Taty Guiribitey shared in an interview for the program Destino Talk that she arrived in the United States at a young age with only 20 dollars in her pocket. However, for many years, she and her husband worked incredibly hard and earned income in various fields, primarily in real estate, gradually building a fortune that makes them one of the wealthiest Cuban families.
"Little by little, our businesses began to grow, and with what we earned, we didn't go to a nightclub. I didn't know any nightclubs here when I was young; we saved everything we had and started to invest it," Mamilover recounted.
"We started to diversify our income in real estate, in the stock market, and in cryptocurrencies," said the matriarch of the Guiribitey family, who explained that they also own four dental clinics, surgical centers, and are investors in several hospitals.
La Mamilover also revealed during the interview that the Guiribitey family had recently inherited noble titles from Spain, as one of their ancestors was a Baron and owner of lands in Spain that currently belong to Italy.
After a legal process, the Guiribitey managed to reclaim the lands, along with the noble titles, which hold value only in Europe.
Last May, when Camila Guiribitey attended the show Destino Talk, she revealed that her personal fortune exceeds 33 million dollars; a figure that her mother made it clear does not count towards the 100 million of the family estate and that each family member also has their own zeros.
This year, Mamilover celebrated its 60th birthday at a hotel in Brickell, Miami, becoming the event of the year in the Cuban entertainment scene.
The one in charge of entertaining the luxurious evening with an exclusive concert was Puerto Rican salsa singer Marc Anthony, who was joined by Gente de Zona's Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom for "La gozadera."
