Gente de Zona is a Cuban group of salsa and reguetón founded by Alexander Delgado in 2000. The group combines reguetón rhythms with the more traditional forms of Cuban music.
Gente de Zona achieved their first major international success through their collaboration with Descemer Bueno and Enrique Iglesias in 2014 with "Bailando". The song was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards and also received international attention. Other big hits in 2015 included "Piensas (Dile La Verdad)" in collaboration with Cuban-American Pitbull and "La gozadera" in collaboration with Marc Anthony.
