Gente de Zona is a Cuban group of salsa and reggaeton founded by Alexander Delgado in 2000. The group combines reggaeton rhythms with more traditional forms of Cuban music.
Gente de Zona achieved its first major international success through its collaboration with Descemer Bueno and Enrique Iglesias in 2014 with "Bailando." The song was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards and also received international attention. Other major hits in 2015 included "Piensas (Dile La Verdad)" in collaboration with Cuban-American Pitbull and "La gozadera" in collaboration with Marc Anthony.
