Carlos Alberto Fernández, Cristian, in “The Children of Pandora”: You have to thank the people for supporting you

Cristian is one of the characters of the Cuban soap opera“Pandora's Children”that has most conquered the public; behind this, the actorCarlos Alberto Fernández Pupo, a young man who until very recently did not plan to dedicate himself to acting.

In a recent interview for the portal of theCuban Television, Carlos Alberto told details of how he came to the world of television and cinema and his experience with this role.

His first appearance on the small screen was in one of the episodes of the seriesBreaking the silence under the direction of Rolando Chiong, and right there his interest in this medium began.

"The experience ofBreaking the silence It was very nice. I think it was one of the best I have had, because Carlos Solar and Yeni Soria, the actors who played my parents, became my family (…) and working with El Chino was incredible. “I made new friends and I had a lot of fun,” he said in the interview.

As a result of his participation in this drama, he was offered a casting for the role of Cristian and from the beginning they told him that he was a character with "a lot of emotional charge."

In “The Children of Pandora”, Carlos Alberto plays the son of Yoana (Gisselle Sobrino) and Reynaldo (Alain Aranda); His life takes place in the middle of a family conflict since he is not his father's biological son.

Cristian's story has not been the only thing that has captivated the Cuban public but also the sensitivity that the actor has managed to capture through this character.

Regarding the public's reception, Carlos Alberto, who is in the eleventh grade of high school, acknowledged that it is something new for him and at the same time beautiful: “People have loved this character a lot and that truly amazes me. You always have to thank the people who are supporting you and following you every moment. That they speak highly of my work, and that they value the bravery of that child makes me feel very good. That's worth gold to me."

“That they want to take photos with me is out of this planet. I thank them very much because the love they have for me is too much just for seeing me on television, and in that way I would like to return that love too," said the young man.

Although “The Children of Pandora,” a soap opera in which Paula Alí also participates,Alejandro Cuervo, Laura de la Uz and Roxana Broche, among others, is close to its end, the Cuban public will be able to continue enjoying Carlos Alberto's performances.

The actor shared with the Cuban Television portal that he also filmed the filmTigers in the Dominican Republic in which he appears as the protagonist, so we will see him on the big screen very soon.
