Adamari López is fired from Telemundo after 11 years

The 51-year-old Puerto Rican presenter and actress is no longer part of the network.

After 11 years working in Telemundo, Adamari Lopez is no longer part of the television network, news that has caught many by surprise, especially viewers of the morning program "Hoy Día", which the Puerto Rican actress and host presented until this Thursday.

The news was confirmed by Telemundo, which indicated that it was a mutual decision: "This is the right moment for her to leave her role as presenter of Hoy Día."

"We are deeply grateful for her continued dedication to Telemundo and we hope to be able to collaborate with her on future projects," the network said in a statement, in which they also highlighted that "she is a highly talented, multifaceted television presenter who has been part of numerous specials and programs of the network, always connecting with and serving our viewers with his charisma, authenticity and charm.

However, since El Diario NY They report that the presenter was summoned to human resources this Thursday, after the broadcast of the morning show, to inform her of the decision that she will not continue working on the program or the network, which she joined in the summer of 2012.

The departure of Alaïa's mother comes at a time of change at Telemundo, which in recent times has stopped having other faces on its staff such as Chiquibaby, whose real name is Stephanie Himonidis Sedano.

In this way, "la Chaparrita de Oro" closes a professional stage in her life and it is certain that, with her professionalism and charisma, new job opportunities will come for her to continue growing and succeeding.

For now, the 51-year-old Puerto Rican has not made any statements in this regard.
