Cuban girl conquers the judges of La Voz Kids Uruguay

A cuban girl has captivated the judges of the singing competition La Voz Kids, from Uruguay, with her rendition of Beyoncé's "Halo."

Saidys Footwear, a 14-year-old teenager, has made the five members of the jury turn their heads when they heard her sing during the show's blind auditions.

The young woman dared to perform the difficult song on the sixth program of La Voz Kids, in front of Ruben and Julieta Rada, Alex Ubago, Valeria Lynch and Agustín Casanova.

The coaches They gave a standing ovation to the Cuban woman's presentation that left the audience shocked.

"You are incredible, you are a wonderful reason to be here right now," he said. Alex Ubago after listening to it.

"I am grateful to be on this program to listen, hear, feel artists like you. You really are wonderful, you have taste, style, you are subtle. You have a clear voice, a clear voice that encompasses everything and transmits a lot," he told her. Valeria Lynch, whom Saidys Calzado chose to be his coach during the contest.

On her Instagram account, the teenager described the experience as "wonderful" and thanked everyone for their support, especially her family.

"It was beautiful to step on a huge stage like this again and also with professionals like the coaches," he said.

Saydis Calzado had already participated in the show Uruguay Got Talent, where he also impressed the judges and became a semi-finalist, according to a use from the Uruguayan newspaper The country.

The little girl arrived in that South American country five years ago accompanied by her grandparents, on a four-day journey that began in Havana and passed through Panama, French Guiana, Brazil, until entering Uruguay through Rivera.

Her mother, Sayma, who had made the same journey a few years before, and her stepfather, were waiting for her in a house on Cerro de Montevideo.

Several Cubans have left judges and the public speechless in the talent shows from different countries.

From Miami until France, young people of Cuban origin have shown off their singing skills in this type of shows.
