He has been the subject of attacks and accusations from members of the Cuban Communist Party and their sympathizers, including theinfluencer Ana Hurtado Martínez, who supposedly had publicly defamed him, and against whom the Cuban filed a civil lawsuit for committing alleged crimes against honor.

At the beginning of May,The Spanish justice system officially admitted his claim, which was celebrated by the doctor as a victory for his cause and a step forward in his fight for freedom and justice in Cuba.

Israel Rojas, recent “national vanguard” of the Cuban Ministry of Culture and director of the Buena Fe group, he is a well-known supporter of the Cuban regime, a regular at concerts and political events of the ruling party.

In January, the singer stated thatthere is a well-coordinated campaign to discredit them and so that their music is not heard. Days before, in an interview published in official media, he assured thatThere are people who don't like him because of his political ideas..

After receiving the distinction from the regime, Buena Fe traveled to Madrid to offer a concert to which, judging by the images, very few people attended, among them Enríquez Nodarse and his companions, who shouted their proclamations of freedom and change in Cuba.

At the time of writing this note, it is unknown if the attackers were part of the embassy officials and staff who usually attend performances by artists from the ruling party, or if they were Spanish citizens who sympathized with the regime.

“If they do it here, imagine what they do in Cuba”, said the doctor in his direct statement to report what happened. From his words it could be deduced that the aggressors were Cuban citizens, a fact that has not yet been confirmed.

In any case, the Cuban activists went to Madrid health facilities to make an “injury report” with the intention of filing “charges” against their attackers. For the commission of a “crime of injuries.”

If they are personnel of the Cuban embassy in Spain, the diplomatic immunity they enjoy could be complicated in this case, according to what is established in the “Organic Law 16/2015, of October 27, on privileges and immunities of foreign States , International Organizations with headquarters or office in Spain and International Conferences and Meetings held in Spain.

In itsArticle 11, the aforementioned rule indicates that in “processes relating to compensation for injuries to persons and damage to property: Unless otherwise agreed between Spain and a foreign State, it may not assert immunity from jurisdiction before the Spanish jurisdictional bodies in a process relating to an action for pecuniary compensation for death or injuries suffered by a person or for damage or loss of property, caused by an act or omission presumably attributable to said State, provided that: a) The act or omission had occurred completely or partially in Spanish territory; and b) The material author of the act or omission was in Spanish territory at the time when said act or omission occurred.”
