ACuban woman who sold her hair to have money to buy food for her children, received a surprise for Mother's Day.
Thanks to the comedian's initiativeLimay Blanco and her project to help homeless families, the woman, who lives in precarious conditions with her three children, was able to recover her hair for free.
Limay shared a video on her networks of the gift they gave this Cuban mother: they picked her up in a taxi at her house and took her to get some extensions.
Yenny, owner of the Yenni Estilo private hair salon, excitedly welcomed the woman, whose name has not been revealed.
"This is a little gift that we want to give you for Mother's Day. Between me and the group Cristo changes lives, especially Glenda and Limay. It was very shocking for everyone to see you, your news came outCyberCubaand so on," the stylist told her.
"Cutting your hair was something that, at least for me, in particular, touched my heart a lot. We want to give you some extensions so that you can have your long hair again," he announced.
The video showed the entire makeover process, which also included giving her a manicure.
This woman lives in a humble neighborhood of Havana, in a borrowed room, with pieces of cardboard and curtains for doors, without basic means and completely overcrowded.
This week Limay shared the moment when they were able to give him a refrigerator and a television, since he did not have an appliance to store food, and the only one he had, broken, was converted into a closet.
