Limay Blanco, also known as Muñi Muñi, is a Cuban comedian born in the Silvio Caro neighborhood of Bahía Honda, in the Pinar del Río municipality. Coming from very humble origins, he has stated on several occasions that his home had a dirt floor and that his spelling mistakes are due to the fact that he went to school to "tell stories."

Limay, who as a child and young man had a great passion for telling Pepito’s stories, formed a comedic group in the 1990s alongside Ismel Gonzáles called Los Comelocos. His big break came with the comedic contest Los Amigos de Pepito, a humor program that, in the format of a joke competition, launched comedians like Lemay, who won all stages of the contest: the quarterly, the semiannual, and the annual.

In 2019, she announced via her social media that she was renouncing the Yoruba religion and converting to Christianity, which sparked significant controversy among her audience. Limay uses her social media not only to promote her work and share information about her performances on the island but also to keep her followers informed about her private life.

Thanks to his networks, we have learned that he provided assistance while working in the USA with the victims of the tornado that devastated several areas of Havana in January 2019. It is common to see Limay denouncing the conditions in which Cuban families live and using the power of social media to seek help.

This is what he did in 2020 following a publication that highlighted the desperate situation of a mother and her five young children, who live in extreme poverty in Pinar del Río, to whom he publicly committed to help once the pandemic was over.

In January 2021, the comedian appealed for help on social media for a 3-year-old girl who might lose the only healthy eye she has left, after the other was removed due to eye cancer. “Her parents have no resources and are asking for help. She urgently needs treatment, which requires her to travel,” the comedian stated on social media.

Recently, the controversial comedian opened the doors of his home on his YouTube channel after receiving harsh criticism for his work helping underprivileged families and showed that everything he has is the result of his hard work. He also reiterated his desire to build a cabaret with the aim of raising money to continue his charitable work.

In November 2020, it made headlines for being involved in the purchase of a wheelchair for a young Cuban with a disability residing in Villa Clara.
