The new study that premiered onCanal Caribe, with a "modern" set with a touch screen, was used by hundreds of Cubans who questioned the scenic change when the discourse remains the same.

"Notify when you give real news," said an Internet user in the comments to the post where the officialrevels in the horseshoe-shaped structure of the set and the megascreen they acquired to transmit the same sugar-coated vision of the regime.

The news channel moved to Studio 11 of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT), where the programs Al Mediodía, la Mesa Redonda and Noticiero Cultural were for years.

Now "it shows seven fundamental spaces: the main news set, a touch screen and a mega LED screen (especially for cultural, sports and meteorological news), the location of the news rounds, an area for interviews and another for the Noticiero Cultural", reported the site.

However, Internet users wondered what change this alleged “modernization” would bring when the type of news transmitted, thecensorshipand theinformation manipulationit continued the same.

"More important than changing the study should be changing the discourse. Start by changing the lies that you repeat so much for the truths that we are living and you blatantly remain silent," one person commented.

Many messages questioned the spending of money on such technology when the people do not have access to decent food.

"Spending money on technology and not putting a penny into producing food, we will have news on an empty stomach"How good, they solved a big problem," said another Cuban ironically.

Among the congratulations that recognize the visual improvement of the space, criticisms are interspersed that ask for a more profound change that restructures the type of news.

"I think it's great that they remodel and make changes to improve, but it would seem even better to me if they also changed the way they gave the news, even the news itself, that would be good just as if they didn't cover the sun so much with one finger knowing that That's impossible," said another Internet user.

Others saw in the new scenery a desire to advance towards another type of newscast, which could be reached gradually.
