The evaluation considered that this city is among the most popular to live in Florida, so this trend has impacted the increase in rental and housing costs, although in general the prices for renting an apartment or a house in the United States have risen. in recent years, and in 2022 the average annual cost increased 6.2%, according to the aforementioned platform.

This city is also considered the most Hispanic in the US and is the second most sought after place by renters in Florida, after Orlando, according to theNew Herald.

A recent WalleHub study also pointed out that in this cityonly 6.8% of residents speak English.

Hialeah is also the second largest city in the country.Miami-Dade County, in Florida. It has 223,017 inhabitants and as a curious fact, 75.13% of its residents were born outside the United States.

In the top 10 of the least affordable cities to rent, Hialeah ranked fifth and on average there you pay $2,324 per month in mortgages and property taxes.

Likewise, the Miami area is experiencing an increase in housing rents and its city is the second most expensive in Miami-Dade County for one-bedroom apartments.

According to Wallehub, the 10 worst places to rent a house or apartment are Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; Memphis, Tennessee; Jackson, Mississippi; Akron, Ohio; Chattanooga, Tennessee; New Orleans, Louisiana; Huntington, West Virginia; Shreveport, Louisiana and Hialeah, Florida.

In the last week, it emerged thatMiami remained the least affordable housing market in the entire United States in June, after the median list price of a home rose to $590,000, $5,000 more than the previous month, according to the US Affordability Index.RealtyHop.

The June list kept the city of Miami in Florida as the most unaffordable because that amount means that homeowners will have to spend $3,170 per month on mortgage payments and property taxes, which represents80.6% of annual income from a local family, details the information.

Last May, due to numerous complaints from residents in Florida about the increase in rental prices, they were announced10 factors that were impacting that escalation.

These included: the increase of 0.78% in the population of the Miami metropolitan area during 2022, a percentage that indicates a greater number of housing seekers; access to beaches and leisure offers; the good employment situation in the city of the Sun, combined with the absence of state income taxes in Florida.
