The Cuban actorErdwin Fernandez Collado condemned the approval of the new Military Penal Code in Cuba, which punishes up tofive years of deprivation of liberty for those who evade their Military Service obligations Asset.
"I don't know about you, but it scares me. Just as everything that happens there scares me," he said on his wall.Facebook.
Erdwin also wanted to comment on the crisis his country is going through, and blamed the situation on the people of Cuba, including those who emigrated, as he did.
In his opinion, everything fatal that happens in Cuba, which affects the lives of both those who live there and those who left, is not the fault of the "blockade", but neither is it the fault of the government, nor the Communist Party, nor the leaders, not even the current ruler.
"The fault (to call it something) is yours, those who are there, and all of us, those who are part of that people spread around the world, who left. We are the only ones to blame for lowering our heads, for speaking softly and in corners, for leaving; for not making use of the Universal Rights of the human being. You just have to look at it this way: four cats dominating millions, deciding their lives, inside and outside of Cuba. ", he claimed.
Erdwin, who lives in Miami, usually publishes texts in which he demonstrates his constant concern for the situation in his homeland.
Days ago, he remembered whenHe lived in Cuba and was happy for "small and sad" things, like when the water "entered" to the house or someone sold chicken, and he lamented how many good people continue to live like this because of the regime.
"How much talent, honest and hardworking people suffer, how many people in my beautiful Cuba are deprived of what rightfully belongs to them. To see those who really want to study and work, live from their work, create, forced to silence and conformism...", he said then.
The actor admitted that no system is perfect and that everywhere there are poor people, people living on the streets and injustice, but he pointed out that in other places people have the possibility of living better and fighting for their dreams.
