The modelMujica woman, Miss Hispanic Cuba 2023, is back in his hometown in the fields of Cienfuegos.
Proud of her roots, the girl shared with her followers on Instagram a video walking through this town of which she has fond memories of her childhood.
“My childhood was in a town in the province of Cienfuegos, Cuba, called Covadonga or Antonio Sánchez because of the sugar mill. I lived there until moving to Havana in search of dreams and opportunities. "I grew up running through pure red dirt and stones, breathing the pure air, and when I woke up, it was the crow of a rooster," the young woman said on that social network.
Donna Mujica said that she comes “from a humble, educated and simple peasant family. From a neighborhood where the neighbors were more than family. Where my main transportation to go to school was my bicycle, and on the way every day, I had to wait for the train to pass with the sugar canes to grind at the central plant.”
“I'm not going to forget the childhood I spent there, I was born, grew up and trained there,” he said, as he tours the place and tells his followers that he grew up among chickens, pigs, banana and guava plants.
The girl remembered even the times when she climbed a plum bush to eat the fruits, who also showed her grandmother's house, her aunt and her neighbors.
“On this embankment full of stones and grass I played ball, hide and seek and everything,” he recalled with a smile.
During this trip to Cuba, Miss Hispanic also brought help to children and people in need in a neighborhood on the island accompanied by the comedian Limay Blanco.
