Shocking images reveal what it was like rescue of two children who were drowning on the Havana boardwalk this Wednesday, due to the turbulent waves caused by the weather conditions.
Although, initially, it was reported that members of the Fire Department rescued three minors who were bathing in the sea, despite the bad weather, witnesses to the events documented in videos the moments in which two young people saved two teenagers from drowning.
Images sent to CyberCuba They show that they are two minors, and not three, and that before the rescuers arrived, two men were in charge of saving them from danger.
At risk of their own lives, the young people identified as César and Alejandro - brothers living in Línea and E, in Vedado - jumped into the water in the area of the Riviera hotel and managed to get the boys out.
The videos show the distressing moments in which they try to help the teenagers out of the water, while another person from the wall throws a rope to help them, in the midst of the strong waves and the obstacle of the reefs.
Time and time again, both rescuers and children in danger are thrown by the waves against the stones, until, happily, they manage to climb onto the reefs.
At that moment the siren of the car is heard. firefighters, and members of the Rescue and Rescue Brigade of the Plaza de la Revolución municipality helped the minors climb onto the boardwalk wall, where they provided assistance to both children and the young people who saved them.

In images that circulated the day before through social networks, a child appears on a hospital stretcher with intravenous hydration and several wounds on his legs. Internet users assured that it was one of those rescued.
