Inter Miami welcomes Messi after winning his eighth Ballon d'Or

Lionel Messi's party for his eighth Ballon d'Or was not just in Paris. His club, Inter Miami, also joined the Argentine's festivities.


The Argentine starLionel Messi was received this Tuesday at theInter Miami afterhaving won the eighth Ballon d'Or of his sporting career, a fact that makes him the first active player to achieve this individual award in the history of the United States Soccer League (MLS).

His particular gratitude, too, was for theArgentina national team, whose victory in Qatar 2022 promoted this achievement that is celebrated today "because without the World Cup that we achieved together it would have been impossible to win it."

Currently theInter Miami is out of theplayoffs of Major League Soccer, occupying the penultimate place in the general standings. An extended vacation for the man from Rosario, who will spend some time away from football activity.
