29-year-old influencer and model dies after liposuction

The world of modeling is once again shocked by sad news. Themodel and Brazilian influencerLuana Andrade, 29 years old, died this Tuesday in a hospital in São Paulo due tocomplications associated with liposuction to which he was subjecting himself.

Andrade's heart stopped two hours after starting the surgical procedure, so the doctors decided to immediately suspend the extraction of body fat, the São Luiz Hospital in the Itaim Bibi neighborhood reported in a statement, cited by themagazineHour!.

According to the health center, subsequent medical analyzes detected athrombosis, so the patient “was transferred to an intensive care unit to receive hemodynamic treatment.”

However, Luana “evolved unfavorably” anddied from a pulmonary embolism, according to the official hospital note.

This was not the firstplastic surgery that the young woman practiced. A spokesperson for the model, quoted by Brazilian media, said: “She already had surgery on her abdomen and was going to undergo surgery on her legs.It was during liposuction on the knees that theunfortunate incident”.

Andrade worked as a collaborator on the programNice Sunday of the SBT network and, previously, he was in the sixth season of thereality Power Couple. He also had his own clothing brand -Lukand-, he indicated.Hour!.

Just five days before her death, the influencer uploaded areel with his “memoirs” of 2023, in which he included images that perpetuated his best moments of the year. Along with the video he wrote: “It's not over yet, and so much gratitude for this year 2023.” His friends and followers have left dozens of messages of condolences on the publication.

In a shocking message on his social networks, Luana's boyfriend,Joao Hadad, expressed after the death of his partner: “I am torn and living my worst nightmare.A piece of me is gone.“With much regret and much pain in my heart I say goodbye to my Luana, my princess, my beautiful….”

“Two years have passed by your side and I have no words to express how happy I was... We made a beautiful story and we lived our dreams intensely. “More than a girlfriend, you are and always will be a partner for life, my love,” he said.

“Today it is difficult to understand God's plans, and I don't know when and if I will ever process the absence that you will make in my life and in the lives of a legion of people who loved your presence (...) I will love you always and forever! always! Thank you for so much,” said the influencer in his moving text.

The influencer was followed on Instagram by more than 500 thousand people, among them, the Brazilian soccer playerNeymar Jr, with whom he had a close friendship.

Precisely last Tuesday, the forwardposted a story on his Instagram reacting to two sad events. One of them was the death of her friend. “My condolences to the entire family, may God welcome Luana with open arms,” said Neymar.
