The American programmer and businessman Mark Zuckerberg, one of the creators and founders of Facebook, told in an emotional anniversary post how he met his wife, Priscilla Chan, 20 years ago.
In a publication on the social network to mark the 20th anniversary of the first date between the two, he said that they met "at a farewell party that my friends threw for me at [Harvard] University when they thought I was about to be expelled from school."
"I asked her out but I told her that we would have to go out soon since I may only have a few days left," he said.
It was 2003 and they were both studying at Harvard University, but it was not until 2012 that they got married, just after she graduated as a pediatrician from the University of San Francisco in California.
"Later I started Facebook, we got married and now we have three wonderful girls. What a wild ride," Zuckerberg noted in his post.
At 39 years old, he and 38-year-old Priscilla have managed to form a beautiful family that of course does not escape the attention of the social networks of which Zuckerberg was the founder.
On March 24, they welcomedhis third daughter, Aurelia. Both already had two girls in common, Maxima, 6 years old, and August, 5.
Zuckerberg is the owner of a fortune estimated this year by Forbes magazine at $119.1 billion.
