Cuban protests alone in the middle of the street in Bauta: "Let's not put up with any more misery"

"How long are we going to continue holding on," he questioned.

A Cuban held a solo protest this Thursday in the middle of Bauta Street, to ask the country's population to "not endure any more misery."

Unlike other protests where people complain to the government, the young man addressed his message to the Cubans themselves.

Sitting on a garbage tank that he previously placed in the middle of the street, the protester questioned "how long" they will continue to hold out.

"You are crazy, these people (the government) are murderers, psychopaths, fascists, they have us stubborn and crazy, for how long?" he stressed.

"Hey, that's good, gentlemen, no more misery, more work for pleasure, more deception, more separation of families and more Cubans dying. Compare this dictatorship with other governments like Nicaragua and now Mexico. It's good, your family is dying crossing borders fleeing from this shit we are experiencing," he said.

A neighbor approached him to try to persuade him, but the man refused and said: "What, are you Agent Fernando? You are my friend, go ahead," and continued withyour protest peaceful.

The video was posted on Wednesday on the Twitter profile "@JaviXCubaLibre2" and on the Instagram account of influencer Eliécer Ávila, where several Cubans have reacted.

A source toldCyberCuba that the event occurred yesterday afternoon in Bauta, province of Artemisa. No one joined the protest nor was traffic interrupted, the cars continued to pass carefully.

"What a clear crazy man", "What he says is true, his obstinacy is justified but his loneliness is touchingly sad", "The best video with the sanest guy that I have seen in a long time, were some of the comments on the networks social.
