Elderly woman missing in Havana for more than 40 days

The woman has been away from her home in the municipality of La Habana del Este for 46 days. "It's inconceivable that a sick old woman like my mother doesn't show up," her daughter said.

An elderly Cuban woman fulfilled missing for more than 40 days in Havana, in the midst of the desperation of her relatives who continue to resort to all possible means to find her.

The lady is named Mirta Rivero Mesa and resides in the Camilo Cienfuegos neighborhood of the Habana del Este municipality.

"Today It's been 46 days since my mom left the house and we still have no news. her. All of this is very sad, since it is inconceivable that a sick old woman like my mother does not appear, despite all the search we have done, that is why I feel helpless," said Yuliet Castillo in the group of Facebook 'Sales Distribution Camilo Cienfuegos Habana del Este'.

Yuliet asked for help once again from all those who have supported her, to continue sharing her publication so that it goes viral in all municipalities.

"I repeat, my mother's name is Mirta, she is diabetic and hypertensive. At this point, after so many days, he must not look the same as he left home. That's why I ask you that if you see an old woman with a face similar to hers, please take a photo of her or call me urgently at 56858863," she pleaded.

The lady's family has searched under bridges for its area of residence, on the coast and in the bushes repeatedly. Furthermore, the police have been informed from day one.

Mirta Rivero Mesa was reported as disappeared last October 10, when she went shopping in her neighborhood.

When she left her house for the last time, she was dressed in a pink blouse, light blue plaid shorts, and pink tennis shoes with green laces. The only identification he carried was his medicine card.
