A person shared images of the accident in the Facebook group Bus and Truck Accidents. He apologized for feeling very nervous when recording this surprising motorcycle fire in Santiago de Cuba.
The people present at the time of the accident asked passers-by to stay away from the motorcycle because they feared that it could explode at any moment.
However, the witness who shared the images commented that the fire could be controlled with the help of neighbors and drivers who passed through the area. No injuries were reported in this case.
"Yes, the flames could be put out with a fire extinguisher. The people passing by did their best to control the fire and it was achieved," said the user.
In October there was afire in Cuba which left 11 motorcycles burned. The incident took place in Havana, in the Bahía neighborhood, around 4:00 am.
The motorcycles were in the parking lot of a 12-story building, near a school. Apparently a battery exploded and this caused the fire to spread.
No vehicle could be recovered. The fire left material losses but did not cause loss of human life.
