Bukele responds to Petro after statements against Milei's victory in Argentina

The president of El Salvador faced the Colombian once again and asked him to stop crying.


Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, responded to the president's statementsGustavo Petro who feels disappointed after the overwhelming victory of the Argentine liberalJavier Miley at the polls this Sunday.

After knowing theVictory of Mercy In his country's elections, Petro, instead of issuing a first message of congratulations to the Argentine, tried to question the people's decision.

"The extreme right has won in Argentina; it is the decision of its society. Sad for Latin America and we will see... Neoliberalism no longer has a proposal for society, it cannot respond to the current problems of humanity," said Petro On twitter.

Bukele reacted to the Colombian's statements by jokingly asking him:"Now say it without crying".

In a few words, the one from El Salvador showed his support for Milei and confirmed that Latin America is betting on liberal policies to get out of the current economic crisis in which they find themselves.

The parties of the Latin American left are losing power on the continent. In Argentina this Sunday he won withoverwhelming victory for liberal politician Javier Milei who has promised "respect for private property and free trade."

"I want to be very clear about something, the model of decadence has come to an end. There is no turning back," Milei said after learning of his victory at the polls.
