Seagull wins MasterChef Celebrity Spain

Laura Londoño's triumph did not truly surprise many, since from the beginning of the program she became the favorite.


Colombian actress Laura Londono became thewinner of MasterChef Celebrity Spain 2023; Perhaps some may not recognize her because of her first name, but if we say that she is Gaviota, the female protagonist of the popular soap opera “Café con aroma de mujer”, that is something else.

Laura's triumph did not truly surprise many, since from the beginning of the program she becamethe judges' favorite, showing that in addition to being an excellent actress, she has very good taste in cooking.

Despite the popularity that hisstarring alongside William Levy in “Café con aroma de mujer”, Laura was the least known celebrity in this eighth edition of the contest.

From ColombiaShe traveled to Spain with her husband and two young daughters.to embark on this adventure that was worth every second. The hug in which she merged with her family after knowing she was the winner was more than enough proof that they were there at all times to support her and share her happiness.

Laura brought everything to MasterChef Celebritythe flavor of Latin American cuisine and its native country. His last dish, “Magia interior”, was a dessert that represented a coin from the pre-Hispanic culture of the Quimbaya, an exquisite mixture of coffee, chocolate, banana and copoazú, which he accompanied with a 200-year-old Spanish wine, the same age as Colombia.

Brazilian chef with two Michelin stars, Alex Atala, was not only speechless before the dessert, but he ended up moved by the sentiments behind it: “How nice to have South America here. There are 200 years of joy and delight. How good the copoazú is, how good the chocolate is, how good the cultural representation of the pre-Hispanic people is. Marvelous".

With her simplicity, joy, sincerity and her talent for cooking,Laura won over the judges of this edition and also the Spanish public.
