Daddy Yankee ends his career to give himself to Jesus Christ: "He lives in me and I will live for him"

Daddy Yankee said goodbye to the stage with an emotional confession of faith in his last concert in Puerto Rico.

The day has come that all fans of Daddy Yankee they feared. The Puerto Rican singer He offered the last concert of his career in music at the Choliseo of Puerto Rico. A show that featured great guests like Luis Fonsi and Rauw Alejandro and in which He made a big confession.

During his last show at La Meta, held this December 3, The Big Boss opened his heart to explain how he tried to fill a void and how he came to pretend that he was happy.

"It is the most important day of my life. And I want to share it because living a life of success is not the same as a life with purpose. For a long time I tried to fill a void in my life that no one could fill; I was trying to fill and find meaning in my life. I appeared to be happy but something was missing to feel complete. I have to confess that those days are over and that Someone was able to fill that void that I felt for a long time. I could see that for everyone he was someone, but I was nothing without him. I was able to travel the world winning awards, applause and praise, but I realized something the Bible says. 'What good is it for a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul?' That is why tonight I recognize that Jesus lives in me and that I will live for him."Daddy Yankee said in his farewell speech.

The famous singer of "Gasolina" and "Despacito" explained that despite enjoying fame, money and success, he could not find true happiness. Therefore, now a new stage is going to begin and He is going to put all his tools (his music, his platforms and social networks) at the disposal of his faith.

"Everything that Jesus gave me is now for the kingdom"

After making this confession, Daddy Yankee - whose real name is Raymond Ayala - has received the support of his followers and also other colleagues like Farruko, who years ago also made the same decision.
