The driver of a car narrowly escaped being run over this Monday night by a Brightline train, when his vehicle was inexplicably trapped between the barriers.
A video shared by the event site Only in Dade showed the moment of tension that was experienced when the driver of a car that had been trapped between the protection barriers tried to move it to avoid being hit.
After trying several times, the driver decided to move away when he heard the whistle of the locomotive, which did not stop and ended up crashing into the front of the vehicle.
The accident occurred in North Miami and no one was injured. At the time of writing this note, the causes that led to such an unusual event are unknown.
Several accidents with high-speed trains have been reported in Florida.

The event took place near Midtown and was captured by people who recorded it with their cell phones from other cars.
In the videos you could clearly see how the vehicle stopped on the other side of the barrier, after passing under it, and even advanced a little further before the train passed.
In April 2022, there was a collision of a train against a vehicle in the middle of the road in Aventura, right on the border between Hallandale Beach and the aforementioned city in Miami-Dade County.
A video from a surveillance camera from a nearby establishment showed how the driver of a gray Sedan bypassed the security barrier and drove against traffic directly towards the train line.
