The Cuban boy Anyelo Utria Romero, whoHe lives in Havana in conditions of extreme poverty with his mother and four other siblings., received the first aid after the mobilization of activists and anonymous citizens to support the minor and his family.

"Yesterday we were able to give them clothes, shoes, clothes for the baby and bums. In addition to some groceries (chicken, tuna and milk). This has been just the beginning so that they have a way to sustain themselves these days, since the situation of this family is precarious from every angle you look at it," Yamilka Lafita, known as "Lara Crofs," reported on Facebook this Friday.

The activist listed other basic needs that the family has: shoes, 39, 41, 42 and 34; bedding, towels, toiletries and of course, food.

Lara Crofs explained that they cannot visit all the people they contact to collect items and specified that they will be receiving what people want and can donate at 21 # 40 street between 2nd and 4th, in the Guiteras neighborhood, during the hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In her publication, the activist detailed two contact telephone numbers, as well as different ways to make financial donations, both in Cuban pesos and in MLC.

Crofs promised a daily update on the case and said goodbye with a special thank you to collaborators and donors.

It all started at the beginning of this year when the image of the minor caught attentionafter participating in the New Year's Eve dinner that heBar K5 offered in Guanabo for vulnerable people. His state of visible lack of protection prompted many to try to locate him, something that Yamilka Lafita achieved.

It turned out that the minor - identified as Anyelo Utria Romero - is 11 years old and lives in conditions of extreme poverty with his mother and four other siblings, one of them a girl just a few days old.

An extensive publication this Thursday from the influencer known asEdmund Dantes Jr. He offered details of the dramatic family situation.

The five children are: Ayamey Utria Romero (12 years old); Angelo Utria Romero (11); Reinier Díaz Utria (10); Estefaní Díaz Utria (6); Yoelis Montero Utria (4) and Achanti Olviva Utria (newborn).

The mother, Katisleidy Utria Romero, is 30 years old and left home at the age of 13 due to family abuse. He currently does not work and receives 5,875 pesos per month from Social Welfare.

In conversation with Lara Crofs, Katisleidy Utria explained that last year she appeared at the Council of State due to the deplorable situation in which her house is located, but she assures that so far she has not received a response.

Katisleidy's three sons - including Angelo - are on scholarships at a special school in the Playa municipality for children with learning delays.

“Seeing Angelo in the photo at the bar was the door for us to find his entire family and we could change their lives, help them”wrote Edmundo Dantés Jr., who urged that Angelo's family be helped with whatever they can.

Dozens of Internet users were willing to help from the first moment and many captured donations made for this purpose. However, there are those who believe that donating is not the way, or at least not the only way that should be taken with this family and with others in similar situations.
