Former big leaguer Yoenis Céspedes has no intention of playing the National Series in Cuba

Former Cuban big leaguer Yoenis Céspedes has no intention of playing the National Series in Cuba, confirmed sources close to journalist Francys Romero.

The 38-year-old outfielder had recently been included in the Granma team's roster, but according to Romero "without confirmation from the player."

“The former Athletics, Red Sox, Tigers and Mets is not expected to return to Cuban baseball,” the information concludes.
