The Cuban former baseball player Gerardo Miranda He arrived in the United States this Tuesday after several months of waiting in Mexico.
The news was announced by the specialized journalist Francys Romero, who shared on his profile Facebook several photos of the former player at the airport with several family members.
Miranda, a former National Series pitcher, spent nine seasons with the Havana and Artemisa teams.
"He recorded good seasons like 2007-08 (6-7, 2.93 ERA, 74 SO) in those rotations of star pitchers for the Havana Cowboys," Romero recalled.
His father, Gerardo Miranda Balmaseda, was an outstanding outfielder and second hitter for the Havana teams in the National Series and Agricultural Teams in the Selective Series in the 80s and 90s who continues to live in Cuba.
