The young man, who played with his province in the 62nd National Baseball Series, had been included in the list of the 25 best U-18 prospects of 2022 prepared by Romero.
During the 62nd National Series Manzolo did not have many opportunities, as he only pitched 0.2innings, in which he did not allowhits no races.

In this new stage Jorge Luis Manzolo will be represented byEdgar Mercedes (Born to Play), who currently represents the Cuban Yariel Rodríguez, and who in the past has been an agent for players such as Luis Robert Jr., Yoenis Céspedes, Juan Miguel Miranda and Yunesky Maya.
Francys Romero reiterated that the emigration of talent in Cuba has no brakes, and recalled thatIn 2023 alone, more than a hundred players left the country looking for a better future.
Added to this is the fact that the exodus of baseball players in Cuba is increasingly lowering the average age.
In recent days it was news that the young talentLuis Enrique Gurriel Jr., baseball player, barely 12 years old, nephew of Lourdes Gurriel and cousin of Yuli, Lourdes Jr. and Yunieski, also left Cuba with the final purpose of directing his future towards the Major Leagues.
The minor arrived in the Republic in the company of his father, Luis Enrique Gurriel. In that case, as he is still very young, Luis Enrique will not be eligible for the Major Leagues until the 2027-2028 period.
Luis Enrique Gurriel Jr. became the fourth player from the most recent Cuba U-12 team to leave the country.
