Images of the storm: Falling trees and power lines in Havana

The severe local storm That hit several municipalities in Havana this Sunday caused trees and power lines to fall, triggering a wave of damages and incidents that were reported by authorities as the most serious that occurred in recent months.

Images of the damage caused by the meteor were shared on the social networks of journalist Lázaro Manuel Alonso, the governor of Havana, Yanet Hernandez Perez, and other official profiles.

The gusts of wind and the rain that fell in the capital mainly affected the power lines, forcing the Havana Electric Company to mobilize its workers to repair damaged networks and restore supply.
