Cuban government will not apply a package of economic measures "until the conditions created in the country are in place"

According to Cuban leaders, between January 15 and February 15, the work system for monitoring and controlling this issue has been consolidated.

Hecuban government assured that he will not apply themeasures of the economic readjustment package that have yet to be executed “until the conditions created in the country are not there,” according to what the Cuban prime minister said in a meeting of the Council of State.Manuel Marrero Cruz.

In a report from the official newspaperGranma Regarding the meeting that was dedicated to examining “compliance with the schedule of the implementation process of the Government's measures to correct distortions and re-boost the economy during the year 2024”, it was reported that “from January 15 to February 15, “consolidated the work system for monitoring and controlling this issue.”

With the presence of the rulerMiguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the Cuban leaders spoke of strengthening strategies between micro, medium and small businesses (MSMEs) and the state sector, “with a view to achieving greater offers to the people, based on their joint potential in food production, trade internal, import substitution”.
