Varadero loses another place in Tripadvisor's ranking of the best beaches in the world

Varadero dropped one position,of the ninth to the tenth place, in the list of the 25 best beaches in the world, according to the evaluation carried out each year by the American travel portalTripAdvisor.

The predominant labels in the evaluation of the main Cuban resort were: Activity, Entertainment, Expensive, and Wellness.

The summary provided by the aforementioned website highlights that this place "has everything you would expect from a perfect beach: golden sand, turquoise blue water and impressive sunsets."

In addition, they highlight the activities that can be done such as swimming, diving or kayaking.

They add that you can travel on a catamaran, go fishing, play a game of beach volleyball, walk along the shore. “Or just relax and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.”

The list is dominated byFalésia Beach, in Portugal. Meanwhile, in the Caribbean,Grace Bay Beach, in Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos Islands, andEagle Beach, in Palma - Eagle Beach, Aruba, lead theranking.

At the beginning of the year it was announced thatVaradero ranked 48th among the best beaches in the world, according to the list prepared by the specialized siteThe World’s 50 Best Beaches.

The list, which takes into account the opinion of “the most recognized and experienced influencers, journalists and travel experts in the world”, is headed by Lucky Beach, in Australia, followed by Source d'Argent in the Seychelles, and Hidden, In Philippines.

The decline in Varadero's position is closely correlated with thedecline in the tourist indicators that Cuba presents.
