Los Angeles Dodgers leave Andy Pagés out in Spring Training cut

The Dodgers made the announcement through social networks, where they left the Cuban as “optional.”

The dream for the Cuban baseball player Andy Page to reach the large team of the organization Los Angeles Dodgers that will compete in this 2024 season, has concluded, when the first cut was made and the prospect was eliminated.

The Dodgers made the announcement through their account on social network, formerly Twitter, where these movements are presented with the Spring Training prior to the 2024 Season of the Major League Baseball (MLB).

The information specifies that along with the Cuban Pagés, Landon Knack, Ricky Vanasco, Nick Frasso, Hunter Feduccia, Diego Cartaya were left out. Meanwhile, Stephen Gonsalves, Jesse Hahn, Michael Peterson, Eduardo Salazar and Travis Swaggert were reassigned to camp. Spring Training of Minor Leagues.

This Saturday, Pagés looked in good shape in the game against the Chicago Cubs, with a home run and a hit, in his first two appearances at bat.

“With the game 1×0 against, the ball disappeared with two on board at the end of the second inning to turn the score around. Two innings later, with Max Muncy on first, he hit a line single to left and then scored an RBI on a double by Drew Adams,” describes the digital portal Swing Completo.

It was his second game with several hits, and in both he hit home runs, plus five RBIs.

“Andy Pagés averages .462, the product of six hits in 13 at-bats. Of those six hits, four are extra-base hits, one double, one triple and two home runs. In addition, he has eight RBIs, six runs scored, one walk and five strikeouts,” he adds. Swing Completo.

Pagés missed much of the 2023 season due to surgery to repair a labral tear in his left shoulder, yet he has shown credentials to fit into the Californian team in subsequent seasons.
