Three teenagers steal $5,000 worth of merchandise from a cigarette store in Florida that had not opened

The store was supposed to open next week, but now its owner is not sure whether to delay its opening.

Three teenage girls stole $5,000 worth of merchandise from a Florida tobacco and cigarette store that had not yet opened.

The robbery was captured by security cameras installed inside and outside the premises, located on 25th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, in Broward.

Shlomo Poston, the owner of the establishment, estimates that the total losses - including general damage - amount to $10,000.

The store was supposed to open next Wednesday, but now it is not clear whether to delay its opening.

The video shows the young women outside the establishment, when one of them breaks a window in the back with what appears to be a steel bar. She then climbs towards the hole she has just made and manages to enter, helped by another of the teenagers.

Once inside, the girl began to take boxes from the shelves and put them in her bag, until the alarm was activated. Then he ran to the door and came out.

Minutes later two Hollywood police officers entered with their firearms in their hands, when the thieves had already left.

Poston regretted the fact and assured that it is really difficult for young entrepreneurs to start a business, because you have to dedicate a lot of time, effort and money to make it successful.

However, he stated that the residents of the area are excellent people and he has received a lot of support.

"A lot of people found out and came to show us their support and that's great," he toldAmerica TeVe.

"We are waiting for the city to approve our permit so we can get a hurricane impact window, which can make a big difference, while we put in safer wood," he said.

On the other hand, the Hollywood police took fingerprints of those responsible for the robbery.

They have also asked anyone with information to call (954) 764-4357.
